Bangkok's only full four-programme IB school
KIS International School, founded in 1998, is the only school in Bangkok offering all four International Baccalaureate programmes on one campus — the Primary Years Programme (ages 3–11), Middle Years Programme (11–16), Diploma Programme (16–18) and Career-related Programme (16–19), plus an Early Years Prep programme from age 2. Rather than bolting the IB Diploma onto a different curriculum lower down, KIS students follow one coherent IB continuum from their very first year.
Consistently strong IB Diploma results
KIS's Class of 2024 IB Diploma graduates averaged 35 points, well above the global average of around 30, and received more than 700 university offers from institutions in 21 countries, including the University of Toronto, the University of Manchester and the National University of Singapore.
A genuinely international, close-knit community
Around 800 students representing roughly 50 nationalities attend KIS, split close to evenly between Thai and international families. An 8:1 student-teacher ratio keeps class sizes small and attention genuinely individual — something that shows in how quickly new students and parents say they feel at home.
A well-equipped central Bangkok campus
Set within a secure, gated estate on Pracha Uthit Road in Huai Khwang, the 25,600 sqm campus includes science laboratories, art and design studios, a black box theatre, a 25-metre swimming pool, a gymnasium, and a dedicated IB Lounge for Grade 11 and 12 students preparing for their Diploma exams.
A second campus for boarding families
In August 2024, KIS opened KIS Reignwood Park, a 60-acre campus that became Bangkok's only full IB day and boarding school, extending the same IB continuum to residential students from Grade 4 onward.
