What subjects and ages do you teach?

We teach English, Maths and Science following the British National Curriculum, for children from Reception (age 4) through primary and secondary school. Early English classes focus on phonics, and Maths follows the White Rose small-steps approach. Older students can take one-to-one lessons for IGCSE, IB and A-Level, and our online centre runs exam-year classes for IGCSE, IELTS and GED. Which class your child joins is decided by an assessment, not only by their age.

Is there a free trial lesson, and how do we start?

Yes. New pupils usually begin with a free trial lesson and a short assessment, so we can place your child in the right class. Book online in three steps: choose Pattaya, Bangkok or Online, tell us a little about your child, and leave your contact details. For Pattaya and Bangkok you can then pick a time for the trial straight away; for online lessons our team contacts you within one working day to arrange a free assessment.

How many children are in a class?

Classes are small. A small-group class has a maximum of 10 students at our Pattaya and Bangkok centres, and a maximum of 4 students online. You can also choose a private group of 2 to 4 children you arrange yourself, such as friends or siblings, or one-to-one lessons. Every lesson is differentiated, so each child is challenged at the right level.

Do you teach online?

Yes. We teach live online lessons, taught by the same teachers and following the same British curriculum as our centres. Online classes have a maximum of 4 students, and one-to-one lessons and private groups are also available. Online tuition is priced by hours a week, with no registration fee. All class times are Thailand time (ICT, UTC+7).

Do you prepare children for international school entrance tests?

Yes. Entrance exam preparation is part of our school placement support for every partner school: we help your child prepare for the entrance examinations each school requires. We also publish free Entrance Test Vocabulary booklets, in five languages, covering the words used in 11+, CAT4 and British international school entrance tests in verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, maths and English.

What is the 11+ or ISEB?

The 11+ is an entrance exam children sit at around age 10 or 11 for entry to a selective or independent school in Year 7. It usually tests English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. ISEB is the Independent Schools Examinations Board, which sets the Common Pre-Tests and Common Entrance exams that many British independent schools use to admit pupils. Each school chooses its own tests, so tell us which schools you are applying to and we will explain what your child will be asked to sit.

Can you help us choose and apply to an international school?

Yes. We help families find and get into the right international school in Thailand, across Pattaya, Bangkok and Chonburi. The first consultation and school matching are free to families. We help with choosing schools, admissions and applications, entrance exam preparation, school tours and visa guidance, and Korean- and Chinese-speaking families can get help over KakaoTalk or WeChat.

How do terms and payment work?

At our Pattaya and Bangkok centres we follow the international school calendar: three terms a year, with Term 1 from August to December, Term 2 from January to April and Term 3 from April to June. You choose your classes and how many hours a week, and pay for the term in advance; your child then keeps the same class times each week. You can join part-way through a term and pay only for the lessons remaining, and you can add hours at any time.

What happens if my child misses a lesson?

A lesson can be moved to another available session in the same term, subject to availability, if you give us at least 2 hours' notice. Lessons that are not attended or rescheduled by the end of the term are not carried over or refunded. If the centre cancels a lesson, it is not deducted from your tuition and its value is credited to your next term. Published closures such as public holidays, the Christmas break and Songkran are never charged.

Who teaches the classes?

Your child is taught by experienced teachers trained in British education, who teach the British curriculum every day and are used to working with children learning English as an additional language. You get a progress report after every lesson, and all our staff work under our published safeguarding policy.
