About Dulwich College Bangkok
A 400-year British heritage, now in Bang Na
Dulwich College was founded in 1619 in London by Edward Alleyn, and today Dulwich College International is the largest overseas network of any British independent school — nine schools across seven cities, educating over 10,000 students from more than 60 nationalities. Dulwich College Bangkok, which opened in Bang Na in August 2026, is the newest addition to that family.
DUCKS, Juniors and a flexible senior pathway
Early years at Dulwich are known as DUCKS (Nursery to Year 2), blending play-based and teacher-initiated learning that shifts gradually as children grow — roughly 80% play-based in Nursery, moving to 60% by Reception. From there, an Enhanced British National Curriculum carries through the Junior School and into a flexible senior pathway leading to IGCSE, A-Levels or the IB Diploma.
SE21: a curriculum built for a changing world
Dulwich's own SE21 framework — “Success in the 21st century” — shapes teaching across the network, alongside distinctive touches like the Independent Project Qualification (IPQ) in the lower senior years and “The Ignite Experience.” Thai and Mandarin are taught throughout, alongside a large co-curricular programme: 17 external ECA providers running 101 activities a week.
A purpose-built campus with elite facilities
The Bangna campus is built around “The Green Spine,” a landscaped central walkway connecting purpose-designed Early Years, Junior and Senior School buildings, an indoor swimming pool and learn-to-swim pool, a sports hall, and dedicated libraries for each phase — all built new for this campus rather than retrofitted.

Yes. Dulwich College Bangkok is part of the Dulwich College family of international schools, whose founding school in London dates from 1619. It opened in Bang Na in August 2026.
For 2026–27 the school takes Nursery to Year 7. Years 8–13 are not open this year and will open as the school grows.
An enhanced English National Curriculum. DUCKS (Nursery to Year 2) learns through play; the Junior School adds Thai, Mandarin, entrepreneurship and public speaking; Years 7–9 take separate sciences and the Independent Project Qualification, leading to IGCSE and then IB or A Levels.
In Bang Na, on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 2 in Dok Mai, Prawet, in eastern Bangkok.
Complete the online application with the last three years' school reports, parent and student passports and the birth certificate. Your child then has an assessment or observation and an interview, followed by an offer and confirmation of the place.
Nursery: a 45-minute play-based observation and family interview. Reception–Year 1: observation, phonics and numeracy. Years 2–3: phonics, reading, numeracy and a writing task. Year 4: a computer-based assessment. Years 5–7: a 1.5-hour computer-based assessment, written task and interviews.
Yes. Thai language and Thai studies and Mandarin (Wo Hui Mandarin in the Junior School) are part of the curriculum.
Textbooks, exercise books and selected activities are included, as are meals and refreshments for DUCKS (Nursery to Year 2).
